Recipe: Goji berry smoothie

This is without a doubt the prettiest smoothie around and the tastiest!

Plus it comes with the powerful nutrient punch of gogi berries – known for their stratospheric levels of antioxidants, huge amounts of vit C, all the 8 essential amino acids, heaps of iron and yes, there’s plenty more.

They make a great snack as they’re full of fibre and not particularly sweet.

Here we add them to a tropical smoothie and I reckon they make all the difference.

If you don’t have a high speed blender I suggest you soften the gogi berries in hot water for 10 minutes before blending.

You will need:

1 mango

1/2 pineapple

1-2 mandarins

1 lime

1 cup water

1/2 cup gogi berries

 

Blend until smooth.
